EnGenius allows up to 36 users to share 4 lines while having the ability to 2-way radio, transfer calls, and text message each other.
The new DuraFon 1X will also allow users to loudly broadcast to another user, a group of users, or all users.
2-Way Radio and Broadcast will still work during a power outage.
The full duplex 2-Way radio and the half duplex Broadcast functions operate independently of the base unit with the same range. So you can take the handsets off site to a field trip or sporting event and still enjoy up to 3,000 acres of range.

School Campus Coverage
Mountain View Colony School is a K-8 school that sits on about 4 acres. For about six years, Mountain View Colony School’s teachers and administrators have been using the EnGenius long-range, industrial cordless DuraFon phone system during Physical Education (PE), field days and so on. We found over-the-counter phones just would not cut-it for range and durability; and other enterprise solutions were too expensive.
