Jabra Launches Revolutionary Touch Screen Headset Series

Jabra PRO 9400 & GO 6400 Jabra have released a new range of wireless headsets with a unique touch screen feature aimed at the Unified Communications (UC) market. The Jabra GO 6400 and Jabra PRO 9400 Series are the first wireless headsets to feature a user-friendly, intuitive Touch Screen which connects the mobile, desk and softphone to the headset. This touch screen base connects to the headset via Bluetooth, for the Jabra GO 6400, or DECT for the Jabra PRO 9400. Using the new touch screen feature users can use the multifunction button to answer, reject, redial, mute calls and adjust the volume quiet easily. The 2.4-inch LCD screen displays caller ID, call records, and lets users switch between their mobile, desk, and corporate softphones via a spin of the carousel.

The touch screen base takes up minimal desk space and when not in use, the headset slots easily into the magnetic docking station for charging. The screen display is automatically dimmed during periods of inactivity to reduce power consumption. Both headsets feature the latest sound technology developments from GN Netcom, and as such continue the with the aim of maintaining the quality of call clarity and hearing protection, regardless of which phone (mobile, desk and softphone) the user is connected to. - Wideband / Narrowband Sound and DSP – High definition sound and digitally enhanced speech deliver crystal clear calls ensuring both parties are able to hear clearly, minimising disruptions.

Both the Jabra PRO 9400 and Jabra GO 6400 Series are compatible with Unified Communications (UC) solutions from leading vendors such as Microsoft and Cisco and feature a SmartSetup wizard on the touch screen to guide users through the simplified process of connecting phones and choosing preferences. The user-friendly touch screen controls incorporate Bluetooth, DECT and USB phone technology. The Jabra GO 6400 is ideal for employees who are often away from their desks and out on the road but yet still want to retain Bluetooth connectivity.
